P1 Vehicle Services ("P1", "we", "us") is preparing to offer an overnight vehicle washing service in the parking garages of residential buildings in Montréal. This website exists to gauge interest in that service before it launches.
This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It is written to meet our obligations under Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25.
Alex Kahan is our Privacy Officer and is responsible for the protection of the personal information we hold.

This policy covers only what we collect through this website today: the three interest forms and the basic technical records our servers keep.
We are not yet operating. We have no customer accounts, we take no payments, and we perform no washes. When the service launches, a separate policy will govern the resident account system and the service itself, and you will be asked to review it at that time.
We want to be explicit about this, because the eventual service involves access to your vehicle and your garage.
We do not ask for and do not store your unit number, your garage access code, your licence plate, your lockbox code, or any key. We take no payment information, because we are not taking payments. We use no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers and no social media pixels — this site loads no third-party scripts at all. We do not buy personal information from anyone, and we do not sell, rent or trade yours.
This site sets no cookies at all. We run no analytics, no advertising and no third-party trackers, and the site loads no third-party scripts — so there is nothing here to ask your consent for, and you will not see a cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Your building, vehicle and occupancy answers are used in aggregate to assess whether a building is viable. We do not use any of this to make automated decisions about you.
You provide this information voluntarily. Nothing on this site requires it, and there is no consequence to withholding it beyond our not being able to contact you.
You can withdraw any consent at any time by writing to the Privacy Officer at the address in section 1. Withdrawing consent to marketing does not delete your interest registration; if you want that removed too, say so and we will remove it.
We will still reply to an enquiry you sent us even if you never asked for marketing, because answering you is the reason you wrote.
| Service | What it does | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Stores form submissions | Canada (Montréal) |
| Vercel | Hosts the site, runs the form endpoints | Canada (Montréal) |
| Resend | Delivers our internal alert, which carries no personal information | United States |
| Google Workspace | Our own inbox, where those alerts arrive | United States |
Each acts on our instructions and is bound by contract to protect what it handles. None may use your information for its own purposes.
Where your information is handled. Your personal information stays in Quebec. The form you submit is received and processed by our hosting provider in Montréal, and stored in a database in Montréal. The alert we send ourselves when a form arrives is deliberately stripped of anything identifying — it names the building and the details of the enquiry and tells us to open our own admin for the rest — so your name, email address, phone number and message are not in it and do not leave the province.
We keep your contact details only while the reason you gave them to us is still alive. That clock runs from the last time we were in contact with you, not from the day you wrote — if you register interest in a building that launches eighteen months later, you are still being served by the reason you wrote in the first place.
At the outside limit we erase the identifying parts of your submission automatically: 24 months for a resident or building-manager enquiry, 12 months for a request to bring P1 to a building. Your name, email address, phone number, message and any notes we made about you are erased. What remains — which building was asked about, how many vehicles, which plan, and the date — is kept as a record of demand and is no longer attached to your name.
This runs nightly, inside the database itself, so it happens whether or not anyone remembers to do it.
If we speak with you — a call, an email, a conversation in your lobby — we note the date and what was discussed, so that the next person you deal with is not starting from nothing. Those notes are erased on the same clock as everything else, and speaking with you resets it, because the reason we hold your details is still live.
If you ask us to erase your information sooner, we do exactly the same thing on request, promptly. We keep no copy of the details we erase.
The site is served over HTTPS. Form data is validated on our servers and stored in a database in Canada, with access restricted to P1 staff. Submissions are rate-limited and screened for automated abuse. IP addresses are hashed rather than stored. Our service credentials are held as environment variables and are never published.
No system is perfect and we do not claim ours is. If a breach ever presents a risk of serious injury to you, we will notify you and the Commission d'accès à l'information as the law requires.
Under Quebec law you have the right to:
Write to the Privacy Officer at the address in section 1. We will respond within 30 days.
This site is under active development and this policy will change as the service takes shape — in particular when we begin taking accounts and payments, and if we enable website analytics. When we make a material change we will update the date at the top. If the change affects information you have already given us, we will contact you directly.
